This is your Archie Comics on drugs

Well, tranquilizers, actually, but I am still amazed this story actually got published. I mean, yes, this was the 60s, where drugs of all kinds were all the rage, but the Comic Code was usually pretty conservative abut this sort of thing.

Believe it or not, North Korea has computers. They are mostly reserved for the members of North Korea's three official parties, universities, the military, the country's intelligence agencies and various research institutions.

Stupid Comics already taught me that British comics for girls were a bit weird, but I was surprised to discover just how grimly peculiar they actually got. Fascinating stuff. Can't help but wonder what would have happened if somebody tried that approach with Archie Comics.
